Sint Maarten/Local actors invited to a Webinar on European funds for research and innovation in our territories

The Collectivité de Saint-Martin is organising, in partnership with the CCISM, a webinar on European funds for research and innovation. This webinar is part of the FORWARD project in which our institution is a partner with the 8 other Outermost Regions.
The FORWARD project has a budget of€4.3 million.It is financed by the European research and innovation programme "Horizon 2020", and its main objectives are to improve the excellence of the ORs in terms ofIts main objectives are to improve the ORs' research excellence and innovation capacities, to increase their participation in EU research and innovation programmes and to link research activities to territorial development.
With this in mind, the webinar organised by the Collectivité de Saint-Martin is intended to raise awareness among local stakeholders of the opportunities for funding research and innovation projects and to give them tools to promote their access to this type of fund that can respond to local issues.
The webinar will be held on Thursday 04 March 2021 from 11:00 to 12:00 and on Friday 05 March from 10:30 to 12:15.
