Cameroon hosts the Francophone Economic Intelligence Festival

These meetings, organized by the Centre Africain de Veille et Intelligence Économique (Cavie), will take place on November 2, 2023 in Yaoundé, on the theme of "Boosting the competitiveness of French-speaking territories".

This November, Cameroon is hosting the Festival de l'intelligence économique francophone (FIEF). Initiated by CAVIE, this international event is intended as a forum for exchange and sharing with sector players on issues related to economic intelligence.

First and foremost, participants will be able to understand the challenges of French-speaking territorial intelligence. Secondly, to attract public and private investors to French-speaking territories; to retain and develop investment in French-speaking territories; to defend and promote French-speaking territories internationally; and to highlight successful French-speaking models of competitiveness.

As with the 2022 event, the content of FIEF2023 will be published in the form of a collective work entitled "Doper la compétitivité des territoires francophones" , under the direction of the scientific committee.

This white paper will be primarily intended for French-speaking government delegations meeting in Yaoundé from November 03 to 05, 2023, at the General Secretariat of the Organisation internationale de la Francophonie, then distributed in the 36 invited countries with the help of local and international sponsors.

CAVIE, founded by Cameroonian Guy Gweth, is the benchmark institution for economic intelligence in Africa. In November 2022, it launched the 1st edition of the "Festival de l'Intelligence Economique Francophone (FIEF)" in Djerba, Tunisia. Following the success of this 1st edition, on the sidelines of the XVIIIth Summit of Heads of State and Government of OIF member countries, CAVIE is organizing the 2nd edition of the Festival de l'intelligence économique francophoneintelligence économique francophone (FIEF2023), under the patronage of Radhi MEDDEB, honorary member of CAVIE, on November 02, 2023 at the Sofitel Mont Fébé in Yaoundé, Cameroon, under the theme: "Doper la compétitivité des territoires francophones".
