The seventh edition of the International Fair of Kaolack (FIKA) will be held from January 25 to February 10 at the exhibition center of the city.
Guinea-Bissau is the "guest of honor" of FIKA 2023, he announced at a meeting to prepare the event.
The official ceremony of the seventh edition of this trade meeting is scheduled for Friday, January 27, at the esplanade of the Heart of Kaolack, on the theme: ''Security of a food sovereignty and global economic context: the urgency of a resilience of terroirs''.

According to him, the organizers of the International Fair of Kaolack received, during the 2022 edition, the visit of more than 300,000 people.
Mr. Mboup said that 1,035 exhibitors representing 35 countries took part in the last edition of FIKA.
The governor of the region of Kaolack, Ousmane Kane, taking part in the meeting, assured the organizers of the fair of the support of public authorities.
