The Vietnam Women's Union and its branch in Thai Nguyen province organized a symposium on March 28 to discuss solutions to support women's access to safe drinking water and sanitation in rural areas.

The Vietnam Women's Union Central Committee, in collaboration with experts from the United Nations Children's Fund, assisted the Women's Union branch in Thai Nguyen to develop a project to increase the rate of access to sanitation in rural areas for the period 2023-2025. The beneficiaries of the project are women and girls from 77 communes in Thai Nguyen.
