Benin/E-agriculture in Benin: acteur-agricole.bj and agrizonecna.com at the service of the rural world

The two digital platforms acteur-agricole.bj and agrizonecna.com are the result of cooperation between the Benin Chamber of Agriculture and the Projet d'Appui au Renforcement des Acteurs du Secteur Privé (Parasep). While the former is intended for consumers, the latter makes it possible to identify producers and agricultural actors in various sectors.

Since April 2, two information and exchange platforms allow agricultural actors to meet their needs or make their offers available online.
The first, acteur-agricole.bj, is a platform for producers. It allows consumers to have a view of available products with their prices. It also offers the possibility to rural populations to have the list of the sectors and sub-sectors as well as the localities. Agricultural actors can sell their products and services free of charge through this platform.
The second platform
agrizonecna.com allows anyone in need to identify agricultural producers and actors in different sectors as well as the organizations to which they belong throughout Benin and to contact them in order to buy their products or to establish business relations with them. From this link, producers and farmers' organizations can find buyers or technical and financial partners that can help them develop their activities. These two digital platforms are an opportunity for our agricultural actors to make themselves known and benefit from a better visibility both within and outside the country. Gaspard Datondji, Deputy Secretary General of the Ministry of Digitalization, said. They meet the vision of the government through the Ministry of Digital and Digitization which aims to revolutionize agriculture with digital tools. All things that are in line with the objectives of the Integrated Project of Digital Transformation of Rural Areas (Pitn2r) launched a few months ago.
