Schoolchildren from Henri-IV and Jean-Perrin continue their actions towards the homeless.

The students of the collège Henri-IV and those of the collège Jean-Perrin in Béziers continued at the beginning of the year, their solidarity actions aimed at the homeless and the most disadvantaged despite the organizational difficulties linked to the health crisis.

Always highly motivated, these young people continued to put together heat, hygiene, festive and cultural kits and entrusted them to the Sakado association.

Around 50 solidarity boxes

As the backpacks for the city's homeless had already been distributed on December 23rd in partnership with the ABES, the students decided to collect their donations in about fifty solidarity boxes. They were entrusted to the Sakado association on Monday 18 January and Sakado will hand them over on behalf of the students of the two schools to the people living on the streets during its January marauds.

In order not to let this beautiful gesture of solidarity get lost at the end of the school year, the students of the Henri-IV and Jean-Perrin colleges have already decided to amplify their future action and to make as many large backpacks next winter.
