Canada/Volunteers raise $6,000 for Opération Enfant Soleil in Massueville
A fine show of solidarity was witnessed over the Labor Day weekend at Camping Le Québécois in Massueville, in an effort to raise funds for Opération Enfant Soleil.
A total of $6,000 was donated to the organization, thanks to an auction, a gourmet table with homemade treats, arts and crafts, a pulled pork hamburger supper, a wash-a-thon, a hot dog dinner, cream sugar sales and haloumi cheese sales.handicrafts, a pulled pork hamburger supper, a wash-a-thon, a hot dog supper, cream sugar sales and haloumi cheese sales.
The event was made possible by organizers Réjean Ricard and André Marion, sponsors, volunteers and the active participation of the campground's seasonal workers.
