Benin - Aplahoué/Providing public services to the population: an administrative complex under construction
With the aim of concentrating a large number of administrative services and reducing the hassle for the local population, who are obliged to travel to different offices scattered across the commune of Aplahoué, or even to Lokossa, before being able to benefit from the services provided by the decentralized structures of the State, this city will reduce travel time and costs for the people of Couffo, and speed up the processing of files. It will also provide agents with a modern setting and better working conditions.
This jewel comprises a two-storey building covering an area of 4,513.98 m² for the Aplahoué Prefecture and four single-storey buildings, each covering an area ofbuildings, each with a surface area of 3,735.93 m², to house the departmental directorates and other decentralized government structures. On the site, the Prefect's residence, an R+1 building with a surface area of 492.43 m², is under construction, as is the residence du Secrétaire général du département du Couffo (un bâtiment R+0) est aussi en construction sur une superficie de 219,98 m².
