The producers of "made in Togo" will be honored for the 3rd consecutive year in October, as part of the "Month of local consumption". The event was announced Wednesday, September 21, 2022 by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Local Consumption.

" Dear producers, promoters of local products, goods and services, the 3rd edition of the Month of Local Consumption promises to be filled with great opportunities for each of you. Together, let's continue the tradition by consuming more Togolese products," tweeted the ministry.

This new edition will be a new opportunity for the Togolese authorities to promote the consumption of local goods and services in order to arouse the desire and interest of the people.

This event, carried by the WAEMU and launched on October 25, 2019, by the ministers responsible for trade of member states, aims precisely to reorient consumption patterns in order to enhance the nationals, through the processing of local products and services. It is also, we learn, an opportunity to raise the level of community trade and consolidate the common market of the WAEMU.
