France/Local currency: Nissart launches its 2025 banknotes

This currency was created on December 13, 2017. Nissart is a currency that is equivalent to the euro, with the exception that there are no centimes. You have to round down to the nearest euro: a small saving since "you pay less than in euros".

Anniversary tickets

The designs representing Nice's emblems and characters are made by local artists. With a few new features, says Cristou d'Aurore: "Henry Sappia has his own 4-nissart banknote," explains the President of the Republic of Nice. "He's the founder of the Academia Nissarda, which celebrated its 120th anniversary".

Supporting local production

24 places are partnering with Nissart: "farmers, Bellet wine, restaurants". A new restaurant that uses local produce is among the latest arrivals.
