Chad: Radio Communautaire de Mongo receives equipment donation from RSF Dakar

Radio Communautaire de Mongo (RCM) has just received a substantial donation of equipment, worth 1,300,000 FCFA, from Reporters Sans Frontières Liberté (RSF) of Dakar.

The equipment includes two Core i7 touchscreen laptops, a multifunction printer (photocopier and scanner), and two recorders. The equipment is intended to strengthen the community radio station's operational capacities.

On receiving the donation, Radio Director Djimet Khamis Zaouri expressed his delight at the timely contribution. He emphasized that this modern equipment will considerably improve the radio's day-to-day activities.

"This equipment will enable us to optimize our work, and offer a better service to our listeners," said Mr. Zaouri. The director also expressed his deep gratitude to RSF Dakar for this generous gesture, while pledging to ensure proper management and responsible use of the equipment received.

Finally, this donation is part of RSF's efforts to support local media and strengthen press freedom in the province.
