As part of the 60th anniversary of the Elysee Treaty, the twinning committee organized a video exchange with the inhabitants of Schonach (Germany) at the town hall on Thursday. As a reminder, the committee is planning a twinning with the German city.

The twinning committee was created by Jean Levêque, former mayor, and Marin Ghita, mayor of Castelu Nisipari, in Romania, in 1990. Today, at the initiative of Jérôme Commun, deputy mayor for culture, a delegation of elected officials and members of the committee went to Shonarch, in April, to prepare the twinning. During the Happy culture weekend, a delegation of Shonachers was received in Plescop.

The Germans now propose to welcome a delegation of the committee in February. About twenty people will leave from the 10th to the 18th, for the ski festival and the beginning of the carnival," explains the president. We will also visit Konstanz. Finally, the committee hopes to organize a trip in July. And to bring the Germans for the Gulf Week.

In addition, a new board was formed in October: Pierre Pamard, president; Antoine Dalberto and Alain Louchez, vice presidents; Claire Le Trionnaire and Dominique Luron, secretaries; Sandrine Cainjo and Jean-Louis Fourrier, treasurers.
