The MRC de Pierre-De Saurel invites its citizens to participate in one of the two public consultation meetings as part of the development of its regional plan for natural environments (PRMN).

These meetings will be held on Tuesday, October 11, at 7:00 p.m., at the MRC Council Chamber (50, rue du Fort, Sorel-Tracy) and on Tuesday, October 18, at 7:00 p.m., at the Saint-Robert Community Centre (1, rue Aggée-Pelletier, Saint-Robert).

This is a last opportunity for citizens to ask questions about issues related to the conservation of natural environments and to express their expectations and concerns regarding the management of these environments, before the final adoption of the PRMN by the MRC Council, which is scheduled for next December.

To participate in one of these meetings, send an email to consultations@mrcpierredesaurel.com and mention the date of participation. To consult the results of the latest online survey conducted within the framework of the PRMN, please visit www.mrcpierredesaurel.com/prmn.

The purpose of the PRMN is to plan the actions to be taken at the MRC level to ensure the conservation of natural environments and to compensate for the losses associated with development, for the next 10 years. The realization of a PRMN is a legal obligation imposed on MRCs by the Quebec government.
