This is the theme chosen to commemorate the 4th edition of the campaign on skills in the field of Digital Cameroon; An event that aims to strengthen the capacity of young people, for employment and entrepreneurship in the digital age.

"Governments and industries are deploying innovative technologies such as Cloud computing, Big Data, Advanced analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Machine learning and the Internet of Things (IoT) to meet the needs of citizens and businesses.The seminar is an open platform for experts and young innovators to exchange on employment, self-employment and business opportunities related to Information and Communication Technologies.

The young people, who came massively to the Star Land Hotel on Wednesday, were discussed on various topics by experts from leading industries, such as Microsoft.

"The Role of Entrepreneurship in Poverty Alleviation in Today's Fast-Changing, Technology-Driven Africa - A Multi-Stakeholder Approach to Addressing the Skills Mismatch and Promoting Youth Entrepreneurship in the Era of the 21st CenturyAn ecosystem that creates digital entrepreneurs leading Africa to a new world of opportunity...".

They were also invited to take part in round tables whose themes are as follows:

"Powerful partnerships - between industry and academia that provide support, real-world experiences such as internships and apprenticeships for students are an important stepping stone giving all students an opportunity for the kind of hands-on learning that can spark a new passion in an unfamiliar environment. Stimulate academic learning and develop students' professional and social skills."

In his speech of February 10, 2022, the Head of State of Cameroon, addressing his young compatriots, had this to say

"The new global economy is now turned to digital and, therefore, invites us to encourage young people to seize all the opportunities offered by digital communications through their various appropriation and socio-economic application ...".

The National Agency for Information Technology and Communication and its partners intend to accompany all those who are committed to the digital economy sector.
