France/Territorial contracts: "Working together to make Lozère a success," the Department is the leading partner for local authorities

Lozère. The Department is the first partner of the communities. It presents the new generation of territorial contracts to local elected officials.

Meetings are organized for the 10 communities of communes of Lozere until the end of November. Note: the next ones will take place in Marvejols, Rimeize and. Nasbinals. With the establishment of these contracts, the departmental majority follows the roadmap that the Lozériennes and Lozériens have entrusted during the last election. The Departmental Council of Lozère remains and will remain the first partner of the territorial communities

"Together to make Lozère a success

After two generations and more than €60M provided over the period 2015-2021, the Lozère Departmental Council will soon launch its third generation ofre will soon launch its third generation of territorial contracts "Together making Lozère succeed" for the period 2022-2025. The €40M budget will be divided into 6 support themes: roads, living environment and village development, development, agriculture and tourism, services and daily life, housing and finally water and sanitation.

The first two meetings to present these contracts to local elected representatives took place on 27 October in Langogne and on 3 November in Le Bleymard, chaired by Sophie Pantel, President of the Departmental Council, and Jean-Louis Brun, President of the Territories and Attractiveness Commission.

On each occasion, all the elected representatives of the territory concerned are invited to take part in these delocalized meetings: the aim is to take stock of the last territorial contracts and to explain how the new generation will work. With this new contractualization, the communities will thus have additional capacities to support the economy with the local companies.
