France/Plaine-Haute Sister City Partnership: 380 meals prepared and sold
The Plaine-Haute Sister City Committee organized its traditional takeout meal this past weekend, October 3. On the menu: roast pork and potatoes with bacon.
With 380 meals sold, the event was once again a success. On Saturday, October 3, numerous volunteers gathered in the kitchen in the basement of the community hall to prepare the meals, under the guidance of Wilfried Vialade. On Sunday morning, they worked on portioning the food into trays before beginning distribution around 11:30 a.m. For the committee, the highlight of 2027 will be a trip to Corbenay to visit their sister town in Franche-Comté.
