France/Sèvremoine. Open House for Artisans, Shopkeepers, and Entrepreneurs

On Saturday, September 26, the Association of Artisans, Merchants, and Entrepreneurs (ACE) of Tillières invites residents and visitors to an open house featuring local artisans, merchants, and entrepreneurs.

Encouraged by the positive feedback received after last year’s event, the members hope to gradually revitalize their organization. “The event was very well received, ” says Anabelle Belliard, treasurer. “We had a lot of visitors last year, which is encouraging. We also had help from the festival committee. Other collaborations are possible, ” adds Antony Bourmand, president.

Various Activities

Last week, ACE members met at the community center to iron out the final details. The ACE is welcoming new members whose services complement existing ones: computer maintenance, power tilling, etc. New partnerships with other organizations are currently being explored.

This year, 25 businesses and shops will participate in the event. Those already located in the area will open their doors to visitors, while the others will set up booths. A raffle is planned at each booth or business, and specific prizes will be up for grabs depending on the exhibitor. “ At the end of the day, there will be a grand prize to be won, ” says the organizing committee. “We all run family businesses, and we want the day to be friendly and welcoming.” Other activities will be offered, including an exhibition of vintage vehicles, a food truck, a bar, and a crêpe stand run by the association, among other things.

It’s a great opportunity for a family outing to meet local merchants, artisans, and entrepreneurs.

Saturday, September 26, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Tillières industrial park, not far from the Nantes-Cholet expressway.
