France/Yvignac-la-Tour. The sister city committee is celebrating its 30th anniversary
To mark its 30th anniversary, the twinning committee has put together a program to welcome the delegation from Ivenack, the German town twinned with the municipality.
She will visit Dinan, then spend a day at Mont-Saint-Michel and take a stroll around the bay. This will be followed by an ice cream tasting at the Chêne-Témoin farm in Broons, along with a concert at the church. The event will be open to everyone, with a suggested donation. An exhibition featuring local artists is also scheduled in the church on Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The event will be followed by a reception hosted by the municipality. A classic car parade and a dinner concert in the community hall will conclude this anniversary celebration. “The dinner concert is open to everyone by reservation at a cost of €30 per person,” explains Christine Lafficher Le Flohic, a volunteer on the organizing committee.
In addition, the traditional yard sale will take place on Saturday, August 15. Reservations are required to best accommodate the sellers’ needs. Food stands will be available (galette with sausage, refreshments, coffee, cakes, and crêpes).
