France/From shows to fireworks and concerts: this town in Calvados is hosting its annual festival

As it does every year, the town of Villers-Bocage is organizing a major festival, "Villers en Fête," featuring a packed program at the start of summer: the event will take place on Saturday, June 27, 2026.

The town of Villers-Bocage, in Calvados, invites you to a new edition of its annual festival, “Villers en Fête , ” on Saturday, June 27, 2026, starting at 4 p.m., on the town hall plaza.

Throughout the afternoon and evening, visitors can enjoyfamily-friendly activities, demonstrations by local organizations, a dinner-concert, and the traditional fireworks display at Ecanet Park.

The program of events

• 4 p.m., folk dance demonstration and introduction with the group Cach’Les Vias;
• 4:45 p.m., line dance performance with Tatie K Dance;
• 5:30 PM, baton twirling performance with Twirling Bocage Odon.

Throughout the event, several community groups will be on hand to offer activities, introductory sessions, and opportunities for interaction, in addition to a refreshment stand run by the Local Ados de Familles Rurales: Pré-Bocage Basket, ASVB Judo, Récré Boca’Jeux, Mömbris and Bampton Twinning, Secours Catholique, Restos du Cœur.

The evening’s program

In addition to the refreshment stand and on-site dining (grill and food trucks):

• 8:00 PM: dinner concert with the group “Girly’s Duo”;
• 11 p.m.: fireworks at Ecanet Park.
