France

Teams from La Poste's sites in Gonesse, Eragny, Domont and Groslay rallied to collect food for the Restos du Cœur.

In the Val-d'Oise region of France, solidarity was once again the order of the day.

Groupe La Poste joined forces with Restos du Cœur for the association's national food drive, organized throughout March 2026.

Four sites

Four postal sites in the département - in Gonesse, Éragny, Domont and Groslay - took part in this operation by setting up internal collection points.

Letter carriers and women took part, and 466 kg of food, hygiene products and baby items were collected.

In addition to the food, La Poste also donated 30 laptops to the association. A welcome boost to help beneficiaries with their administrative formalities or job search.

This local partnership is directly in line with La Poste Group's statutory commitments in terms of social inclusion, territorial cohesion and the fight against exclusion, all of which are central to La Poste's CSR policy," explains Yann Garrido, the Group's territorial delegate in Val-d'Oise. Thanks to its extensive territorial network, La Poste can rely on the commitment and pride of its teams to bring this partnership to fruition."

Great need

For Restos du Cœur, this mobilization is essential and, on the ground, the needs remain great: "In the Val-d'Oise, Restos du Cœur welcomes some 24,000 people to its distribution centers. So many people for whom food aid is an essential support", reminds their president, Fernando Brandao, who salutes the involvement of the postal teams.
