Canada/Québec confirms the creation of Côte-de-Charlevoix national park
Québec confirms its intention to create Côte-de-Charlevoix National Park. The Ministry of the Environment launched a public consultation process on April 18.
Citizens and organizations have sixty days to submit their comments on the park project.
The various steps taken over the past two years, including citizens' meetings and an ethnographic study, would have greatly influenced the development of the proposed development concept.
The project aims to protect a territory of just over 63 km2 in the Charlevoix-Est MRC, while making it accessible to the public.
