France/ NOTE TO LOCAL AUTHORITIES - World Habitat Day 2026
The aim of World Habitat Day is to bring together all urban players to share best practices and highlight initiatives to improve the quality of life in cities.
It is particularly in line with Sustainable Development Goal 11, which aims to make cities and human settlements safe, inclusive, resilient and sustainable.
UN-Habitat - the United Nations program working for a better urban future - has launched a call for expressions of interest toorganize World Habitat Day 2026, with a submission deadline of Saturday, February 28, 2026.
