Champs-sur-Tarentaine-Marchal. Almost 20 years of Christmas exchanges for the twinning. If the health situation hadn't prevented them in 2020, the Christmas exchanges between Champs-sur-Tarentaine-Marchal and its twin town of La Plaine-sur-Mer (Loire-Atlantique), via their respective twinning committees, would be in their 20th year.
Finally, with the first ones taking place in 2006, this will be only the nineteenth. Since then, each time, while cheese, honey and by-products will join the Pays de Retz, products from the ocean shore (oysters, fish soup, white wine (Chardonnay and Muscadet sur lie) and spirulina) will still be on the menu.tres, fish soup, white wine (Chardonnay and Muscadet sur lie) and spirulina) will still be on offer to Cantaloupeans and their neighbors before the festive season.
Anyone wishing to take advantage (*) must contact the animation-tourisme department (**) before Wednesday, December 9. As usual, a small delegation from Plain will be on hand on Sunday December 21, in the covered market hall, between 9 a.m. and noon.
(*) On the menu: oysters (by the dozen, 50 or 100), white wine (Chardonnay or Muscadet sur lie), fish soup (in 1-liter jars) and spirulina: microscopic algae dried at low temperatures, extremely rich in proteins, minerals and vitamins (100 g sachet).(**) Service animation-tourisme de Champs-Marchal, in town hall or 04.71.78.79.74 or animation-tourisme.champs@orange.fr.
