France/Spanish courses for all levels offered by the Carballo-L'Isle-Jourdain twinning committee
The Carballo-L'Isle-Jourdain twinning committee offers Spanish courses at various levels. Beginners can take their first steps in the language. Intermediates can perfect their Spanish, as can advanced learners.
A conversation workshop will help you master the subtleties of oral expression. These classes take place in small groups on Wednesdays or Thursdays, in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere, at the Maison Claude-Augé.
The Spain-France twinning association is constantly organizing activities to keep this important agreement alive for both countries. Last year, the protagonists met and renewed the pact in the presence of Carballo mayor Evenzio Ferrerro and Spanish twinning committee president Ana Cancela. The French committee had prepared 3 days of festivities, ending with the big fair. During the ceremony, they evoked the beginning of the twinning between Michel Ghirardi and Manuel Valera-Ray, the mayors of the 2 communes, by signing the pact which formalizes the solemn commitment made on November 12, 1993 in L'Isle-Jourdain and July 29, 1994 in Carballo.
To find out more and sign up, a meeting is scheduled for Thursday September 25, at 6:30 p.m., in the salle des mariages of the town hall. Groups will be formed at this meeting. For new students, a free trial class is offered to get to know the team and appreciate Hispanic teaching. Classes resume on Thursday, October 2.
