France/This Cherbourg-based company contributes to the employment of people with disabilities or undergoing reconstruction.

JSP Industries, based in Cherbourg (Manche), and the Amarrage association, which helps people with disabilities or undergoing reconstruction, have extended their partnership.

The JSP Industries group, based in Cherbourg (Manche), is to continue its partnership with the Amarrage association, which has been involved for many years insupporting people with disabilities or recovering from mental health problems. This alliance places people at the heart of its actions, based on shared values of solidarity, inclusion and respect.

"Putting our expertise to work for an association

As part of this partnership, the JSP Industries group is making its technical skills available for the restoration of boats typical of our region, a way of safeguarding our heritage. JSP Industries employees create technical metal parts, which are then assembled by Amarrage teams on their wooden boats.

"A partnership shouldn't just be financial. Here, we're proud to be able to put our know-how to work for an association whose aim is to create and manufacture. That's what we're all about", explain the directors of JSP Industries, who were also able to take part in the association's annual meal , attended by over 150 people.

In this year 2025, the Amarrage team wished to mark the occasion by thanking thecompany by hoisting two flags on the two boats, Néréides and Joli brise, which will be on the water at the finish of the Rolex Fastnet Race.
