Switzerland/ Vérossaz is looking for a new town councillor and vice-president

Angelo Riviello, vice-chairman of the Vérossaz commune, has resigned from his position effective January 1. A new councillor is actively being sought.

Angelo Riviello resigned from the Vérossaz municipal council at the beginning of March for health reasons, "Le Nouvelliste" learned on Thursday. His resignation has been validated by the State Council.

Tacitly elected in October on the list of the "Ensemble pour Vérossaz" movement, which put forward five candidates for five seats, the councillor was also vice-president of the commune.

"We were saddened to hear of his departure and wish him all the best for his recovery", added Gilles Donadello, who is also Acting Chairman of the Building Department.

The municipal council and Ensemble pour Vérossaz are currently working together to find a new councillor.
