France/ NOTE TO LOCAL AUTHORITIES - Launch of the URBACT Call for Proposals
URBACT is launching a Call for Proposals dedicated to networks for the transfer of good urban practice. It is open until June 30 (3pm CET).
The aim is to understand, adapt and reuse a good practice that has been successfully tested in another community in Europe.
Step 1: Understand the Lead Partner's good practice
Step 2: Adapt relevant elements of the good practice to local contexts, via local URBACT groups
Step 3: Reuse the adapted good practice via the finalization of the transfer plan
What is a good practice? It's an urban practice that is integrated, participative, impactful and easily transferable. The URBACT Secretariat has certified 116 Good Practices, available in the database.
Who is eligible?
- City partners: in France, this includes local authorities, such as départements, communes, intercommunalités / Etablissements Publics de Coopération Intercommunales (EPCI: metropolises, agglomerations, communities of communes, etc.).
- Non-city partners: local, regional and national authorities dealing with urban issues; universities and research centers dealing with urban issues; authorities managing EU cohesion policy and solidarity funds.
