In Togo, the commune of Haho 1 has adopted its primitive budget for 2025, set at 317.8 million FCFA, down almost 20% on the 396.3 million FCFA allocated in 2024.

This budgetary contraction is explained by a desire to rationalize expenditure, while preserving the commune's structuring actions in a context of more rigorous public management.

In detail, in 2025, operating expenses will absorb 169.1 million FCFA out of revenues of 211.3 million FCFA, generating a surplus of 42.1 million FCFA. This surplus is reallocated to investments, alongside government grants. The latter mobilized 148.7 million FCFA for projects such as : development of the Notsè municipal cemetery, construction of tax inspection posts, rehabilitation of market infrastructure, and co-financing of a livestock market in partnership with FACT and ANADEB as part of the PROGOUV program.

By comparison, the 2024 budget already emphasized investment (41% of the total), supporting the rehabilitation of storage warehouses, the construction of school buildings and public lighting.

Moreover, with the support of the State and its partners, the municipal executive hopes to accelerate the implementation of territorial projects with a high socio-economic impact.
