AUF-Congo: academics at a scientific publication workshop

After updating their knowledge of scientific publication at a workshop organized by the national office of the Agence universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF)-Congo, the participants, all PhDs and postgraduates from member institutions of the aforementioned agency, will produce articles to apply for the summer university.

"You have two weeks to write your articles. The two best in Central Africa will be selected to take part in the Université d'été de la Francophonie in Côte d'Ivoire next July. I hope that, through you, the Congo will be represented", said the representative of the AUF-Congo national office, Pr Edouard Ngamountsika, at the close of the workshop on scientific publication led by Pr Guy Richard Basile Bossoto.

Participants worked on scientific research methodology, scientific writing methodology, publication procedures and scientific valorization. As a result, they were equipped to produce high-level research based on the components of critical thinking, while acquiring the tools they need to ensure their scientific, academic and professional visibility.

As a result of this capacity-building, participants in the workshop on scientific publication will be competing for a place at the summer university scheduled to take place in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire.
