Vietnam/ Dak Lak and Nevers (France) sign cooperation agreements
A memorandum of cooperation between the People's Committee of Dak Lak province in Vietnam's Central Highlands and the administration of the French city of Nevers, and a cooperation agreement between the Dak Lak Provincial Health Department and the Nevers Municipal Hospital were signed on December 10 at the Vietnamese Embassy in Paris (France).
The signing ceremony was attended by, among others, the Chairman of the Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee, Pham Ngoc Nghi, the Mayor of Nevers, Denis Thuriot, representatives of the Nevers Municipal Hospital and the Embassy's Minister Counsellor, Pham Thi Kim Yên.representatives of the Nevers municipal hospital and the Embassy's Minister-Counsellor Pham Thi Kim Yên.
In the memorandum of cooperation between the Provincial People's Committee of Dak Lak and the Municipality of Nevers, the two parties specified their desire to establish friendly and fruitful relations.establish relations of friendship and cooperation in five specific areas: cultural exchanges; the development of information technologies and digital transformation; the construction of a new town; and the development of a new economy.information technologies and digital transformation; the construction and governance of smart cities, urban planning and transport networks; the exchange of experts, training to improve the capabilities of medical personnel; and the sharing of experience on the application of high technology to agricultural production.
In the cooperation agreement between the Dak Lak Provincial Health Department and Nevers City Hospital, the two parties undertake to cooperate in three areas: training and sharing of experience in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases: thoracic, oncology, haematology, haemodialysis; sharing information on international healthcare conferences and seminars by creatingconditions conducive to the participation of both parties; exchanges between medical staff; and the implementation of humanitarian and charitable activities.
In France, the delegation from Dak Lak province, led by Pham Ngoc Nghi, visited and learnt about the research and innovation activities of Dak Lak.s of the École d'ingénieurs automobile, aéronautique et transports ISAT and the Centre INKUB Agora Business. These two higher education establishments play a crucial role in developing key skills for the mechanical engineering industry. Thanks to their innovative training programs, they are actively contributing to the digital transformation and innovation boom in the Nièvre département, in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region of central France.
