To "meet the need for a forum for sharing information and deepening reflection in the definition of local economic development strategies", a local public-private sector dialogue framework was set up in October 2022.

The Agence Régional de Développement (ARD) de Saint-Louis, the initiator of this innovative approach, is committed to strengthening the resources of the parties involved in this entity, which polarizes the regions of Saint-Louis, Matam and Louga.

Indeed, this multi-stakeholder framework needs to be fully equipped to support economic transition in the Saint-Louis region.

The training will enable it to "better identify and appropriate the characteristics of dialogue, to clarify and take into account the conditions for structured dialogue between stakeholders, and to master the stages and reference tools for inclusive and effective dialogue".

To this end, working groups have been set up. They will be working on three major themes: "boosting productivity", "partnerships and financing" and "improving the business climate, economic governance and CSR".
