Benin-Senegal/South-South cooperation between Cotonou and Dakar: ATROKPO and DIAS sign agreement for two modern, sustainable cities focusing on digital technology, sanitation, culture and other sectors

The cities of Cotonou and Dakar, two dynamic metropolises in West Africa, have joined forces at the 43rd AIMF Congress to better meet social, economic and cultural challenges in a healthy, modern and sustainable environment. A move by Cotonou mayor Luc S. Atrokpo and his Dakar counterpart Barthélémy DIAS is sure to bring the citizens of the two sister cities closer together in various sectors of activity, with a view to sharing experiences. The partnership agreement was signed today, Thursday October 12, 2023, on the premises of Cotonou town hall, in a spirit of enthusiasm between executives and local elected representatives from Dakar and Cotonou.
