France/Trélazé. They want to "reinvent" the Trélazé-Ketsch twinning
On Saturday, Timo Wangler, mayor of the German twin city of Ketsch, was present in Trélazé. He met for the second time with his French counterpart, Lamine Naham, after a first meeting, which took place in July, on the other side of the Rhine. The two elected officials exchanged on the new directions to give to this twinning, born in 2010.
We're on the same page," says Timo Wangler. Each of us was recently elected and it was important to see what we wanted to do about this twinning. There was the partnership between our former mayors Jürgen Kappenstein and Marc Goua. Now it is up to us to reinvent this exchange.
Already, projects are taking shape. Visits of delegations, meetings outside the two cities or exchanges between young people "to reach other generations" are mentioned.
