The Deputy Director of Cabinet of the Prime Minister chaired on Thursday, September 22, 2022, the regional workshop to launch Phase 4 of the Program of Investment and Capacity Building of Local Governments (PICCT) financed to the tune of 3 billion CFA (5 million euros) by the Federal Republic of Germany. It was in the meeting room of the Governorate, in the presence of representatives and several guests.

Finally, he thanked the German Cooperation for all its efforts made over several decades to improve the living conditions of the Nigerien population in general and in particular those in his area of concentration.
As for the Deputy Secretary General of the Tillabéri Region, Mr. Boubacar Soumana, on behalf of the Governor, thanked the audience for their presence and, on behalf of the President of the Republic, the Prime Minister and the population of the Tillabéri region, thanked the Government and the German people for their support to the region.
The PICCT is a program that will contribute to improving the access of the Nigerien population to basic public services and strengthen its participation in local governance, he said.
