A financial support amounting to two hundred and sixty-five million (265,000,000) Yuan RMB or about twenty-two (22) billion FCFA. This is what is retained from the signature of the Framework Agreement of concessional loan for the provision of the Republic of Benin by the People's Republic of China. This financial support will be used to set up, on the one hand, a 484.1 km fibre optic backbone network covering certain localities in Mono, Zou, Collines and North Benin. And on the other hand, a 204.8 km metropolitan fibre network to serve more than ten (10) towns as well as the Fishing Road with high speed. The project of densification of the broadband network will also connect the lake areas to the national fiber by the technology of beams with the sole aim of making the digital available to all.
