On Wednesday, some thirty young people from the three departments of the Kolda region (south of France) began a training session in digital professions, organized by the Office national de la formation professionnelle (ONFP) in partnership with the International Labor Office (ILO).

"We have initiated this training course, which will last thirty days, for the benefit of young people from the Kolda region who are selected following a call for tenders to take part in the digitalization training course. The aim is to provide young people with knowledge about entrepreneurship, particularly in the digital field", explained Mamadou Diallo, regional coordinator of ONFP in Kolda.

The Prefect of Kolda, Mbassa Sène, who came to preside over the training launch, urged young people to be patient and persevere.

"We live in a world dominated by the presence of new communication technologies, and digital technology plays a central role in many activities. I urge you to be patient and persevere in your initiatives. This training will be more than beneficial for you, as it can facilitate your work in your respective activities and open up job opportunities for you", said Mbassa Sène.
