Canada/Sustainable development at Victo: Protecting our natural environments

As the days get longer and the weather warmer, the urge to get out and enjoy nature is growing.

In 2025, the ecological gift of Boisé Stein will be formalized, and the City will set up conservation easements on 11 municipal properties.

These lands, which are accessible to the public, will henceforth be protected in order to preserve their ecological wealth.

To ensure the health of our natural environments and protect their biodiversity, it is essential to follow certain guidelines when visiting them:

- Only use existing trails,

- Do not cut down trees and leave branches on the ground,

- Do not touch existing vegetation,

- Always keep your pets on a leash,

- Do not use motorized vehicles.

These are simple but important gestures. Adopting them on your walks will help keep our spaces accessible and alive, for today and for future generations.
