Benin/Education: The 2020-2021 literacy campaign launched in Sompérékou (Banikoara)

The 2nd Deputy Mayor of Banikoara, Alou Toko N'Douro in charge of educational and social affairs officially launched the 2020-2021 literacy campaign on behalf of the commune of Banikoara in the meeting room of the Somperekou district offices in the presence of representatives of the non-governmental organizations Sian'Son, Potal Men.

During the launch of this campaign, the communal authority invited all actors to become more involved in promoting literacy in the commune of Banikoara. Alou Toko N'Douro also welcomed all the technical and financial partners, in this case Swiss Cooperation, for their support in the implementation of the support programme for the decentralised management of literacy (PAGEDA).

It should be recalled that the commune of Banikoara has a total of 29 literacy centres.
