France/In Indre-et-Loire, a partnership between the occupational health and prevention association and psychological help for entrepreneurs

On Monday March 30, 2026, the Association de prévention et de santé au travail en Indre-et-Loire (APST 37) and Aide psychologique aux entrepreneurs en souffrance aiguë (Apesa 37) formed a partnership.

In the wake of the signing of the partnership agreement between the two organizations, Bernard Garbet, vice-president of the Association de prévention et de santé au travail d'Indre-et-Loire (Apesa 37), hailed the partnership as "very good support, as we complement each other".Indre-et-Loire(Apesa 37), hails "very good support, because we complement each other" with the Association de prévention et de santé au travail d'Indre-et-Loire (APST 37).

On Monday March 30, 2026, the two associations joined forces "to support entrepreneurs in psychological distress" in the département, says a joint press release, with a clear objective: "to detect situations of fragility at an earlier stage and offer rapid, appropriate care". The partnership has been set up for "one year, tacitly renewable", adds Bernard Garbet.

Around 50 alerts by 2025

"The agreement is based on three levers: training and raising awareness among professionals via joint actions and webinars, better directing managers towards appropriate systems, and deploying joint actions," adds the press release.

In 2025, between fifty-five and sixty suicide risk alerts were reported to Apesa 37 by the association's sentinels: court-appointed administrators, judges, lawyers, chartered accountants and others. More than 70% of these alerts were followed up by referrals to psychologists.
