France/Vie associative. A twinning committee between Val-au-Perche and Cerizay
The Val-au-Perche twinning committee is part of the rapprochement with the commune of Cerizay (Deux-Sèvres), but is not limited to this twinning.
The association is made up of residents and elected representatives, but is also open to residents of neighboring communes.
It was my desire to get involved in the life of my commune and contribute to its dynamism that prompted me to put myself forward," shares president Matthieu Erb. Once you've got past the initial astonishment, setting up an original twinning arrangement opens up a host of concrete possibilities for our two towns, which are relatively close geographically."He is supported by Lyliane Mousset, vice-president, Nadine Pelletier, treasurer, Isabelle Semely, deputy treasurer, and Marie-Line Bruneau, secretary.
Exchanges
The association aims to formalize its twinning with Cerizay, by introducing the two towns to their respective residents. A first exchange between the hiking clubs took place in June, as well as between elementary school classes. "The idea is to set up exchanges in the fields of youth, sport and culture. We're at the very beginning of the adventure, with everything still to be invented. Ideas and desires will feed our actions", assures Lyliane Mousset, also deputy managing director of associations.
