Vietnam/Vietnamese participation in the 7ᵉ Colloque international Langue et territoire in Ottawa.
Ms. NGUYEN Thuy Yen, Head of the French Department at Phenikaa University, had the opportunity to present a paper at the 7th International Symposium "Language and Territory: Power of Languages, Languages of Power", held in Canada from June 23 to 27, 2025. Her participation was supported by the AUF - Asia-Pacific as part of the VALOFRAS call.
The 7th international colloquium "Language and Territory: Power of Languages, Languages of Power " was organized by the Centre de recherche sur les francophonies canadiennes (CRCCF), at the University of Ottawa, Canada.

This year's conference welcomed, alongside teachers, researchers and scientific experts from five continents, two delegations of teachers from the Hô Chi Minh-Vienna University of Pedagogy.s from all five continents, two delegations of teachers from Hô Chi Minh-Ville Pedagogy University and Phenikaa University in Hanoi.
As part of her participation, Ms. NGUYEN Yen Thuy had the opportunity to present her research entitled " Teaching translation in the face of the explosion of automatic translators: a challenge to be met ".
" This trip also helped to promote the image of Vietnam and the current situation of linguistics teaching and research in Vietnam ", emphasized Ms. NGUYEN Yen Thuy.
" My participation in this symposium enabled me to exchange experiences with colleagues from all over the world, to discover priority research areas in the field of linguistics, socio-linguistics and the teaching of French, and to find out about and learn about the latest developments in the field. teaching of French, and to discover and get to know the inter-cultural aspects between French-speaking and French-teaching countries around the world.
