Vietnam/ Collecting plastic waste in Lan Ha Bay
Braving the sun and the wind, a group of sea-loving volunteers climbs aboard a boat every day, rolls up their sleeves and catches bag after bag of floating garbage - a simple gesture, but one driven by sincere energy.
Lan Ha Bay, next to Ha Long, is nicknamed the green pearl of Hai Phong (North). Here, unspoilt nature blends with the peaceful life of fishing villages. However, uncontrolled dumping of plastic waste and household refuse is leaving a "scar" on this exceptional seascape.
Faced with this reality, discreet people, driven by their attachment to the ocean, write a moving story of responsibility and hope every day.
This is the inspiring story of a group of volunteers from Aclass Cruises, "everyday heroes" who devote their days and nights to restoring the bay to its original color.
Nguyên Van Công, an employee on board, confides: "Many tourists are surprised, admiring, and even want to get involved to pass on the message of environmental protection."
Pham Xuân Sang, manager of a cruise company in the bay, shares, "At first, it was just small, isolated actions by a few boats or companies. Now it's become a real collective movement to preserve the sea."
And this mission has only just begun. Preserving Lan Ha Bay is everyone's business. So that it stays green, so that every gesture counts, and so that together we build a future of "green action, green bay".
