France/Haut-Doubs. In Morteau, a new "springboard" for the local economy
Aktya, a semi-public company, the Communauté de Communes du Val de Morteau and the town of Morteau have joined forces to build a new building dedicated to economic development. Its name: Le Tremplin.
Microengineering and watchmaking are industrial fields that make a major contribution to the prosperity of this geographical area close to Switzerland, which is also part of the Territoire d'Industrie Alliances Luxe & Précision du Doubs. " This territory promotes a Franco-Swiss tradition of industrial excellence through four key areas: innovation, ecological transition, access to land and the attractiveness of professions", emphasize the promoters of this project, which aims to support local companies in their growth and welcome new economic activities.
A place for exchanges and meetings
Designed over two levels, the 1,000 m2 building is organized around a shared central core, a cafeteria and an outdoor terrace. " These will be places conducive to informal exchanges and well-being at work for those who use it: students, start-ups and companies in the microtechnology and watchmaking sectors.
Modular cells are available, ranging in size from 150 m2 to 300 m2 or more if required. To reinforce this collaborative dynamic, the Maison de l'Économie, managed by the Communauté de Communes du Val de Morteau, will run the site. It will also offer meeting and office space for rent, enabling users to benefit from the tools and resources they need for their business, as well as to meet the key contacts to support their development.
Already, in addition to the Maison de l'Économie, supported by the CCVM, the Greta training center will be among the first occupants.
