On June 7 in Brazzaville, women from the Central African Republic living in Congo with disabilities and engaged in income-generating activities received certificates of completion after several months' training in "Top vente" at the Congo entreprise développement center, a European non-governmental organization.

The training provided women beneficiaries and those working in pastry-making, dressmaking, hairdressing and small-scale commerce with knowledge of stock and customer management. The certificate award ceremony was attended by the representative of the European Institute for Co-operation and Development, Mariana Valloand Development, Mariana Vallo Dacampo, as well as representatives from the United Nations system and Social Affairs. It coincided with an open day at the Centre Congo entreprise développement.

The beneficiaries of the training testified that the initiative taken by the Collectif lamuka had opened their doors to entrepreneurship. One learner said she never expected that one day she would need to be trained. The diploma will give her the courage to undertake and look to the future with serenity. She urged her colleagues to get trained too.

The president of the Collectif Lamuka, Gustavine Louzolo, praised the availability of the trainers and learners, and the results obtained at the end of the course. According to her, the trainers were up to the task because the training was inclusive." I'd also like to congratulate my members, who stood firm and adhered to my vision. I know it's not easy for you, most of whom are disabled. There have been difficulties with transport and the tricycle problem. However, this constraint has not demotivated you. You followed the training right to the end. I'm very happy to see you receive your certificates," she said.

She also acknowledged the gratitude of the technical and financial partners for their multi-faceted support in accompanying and monitoring the beneficiaries in Top-vente. She assured training participants of the receipt of the United Nations Population Fund's donation of ovens and stoves. "With their support, the help of the Ministry of Social Affairs and our partners, we believe we can achieve our objectives", said Gustavine Louzier. said Gustavine Louzolo , before "deploring the transport difficulties that caused one disabled woman to abandon her training".
