Poland/Le Premier Centre Francophone pour l'Employabilité (CEF) opens in Poland!
April 11, 2025 marks an important milestone for Francophones in Central and Eastern Europe: the Polytechnic University of Łódź officially inaugurated the first Francophone Center for Employability (CEF) in Poland, supported by the Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF).
Located at the heart of the Faculté Internationale d'Ingénierie (IFE), this innovative center aims to boost the employability of young people through a customized training and support offer.
A space serving skills and professional futures
The CEF in Łódź is part of the network of 21 centers already deployed in 12 countries in the Central and Eastern Europe region. It offers :
- certified training courses in languages, digital and cross-disciplinary skills,
- workshops dedicated to personal development, soft skills and entrepreneurship,
- inspiring encounters with experts, entrepreneurs and alumni,
- individualized support for professional integration and educational projects.
Structured around 4 poles - employment advice and tutoring, complementary training, professional certifications, pre-incubation entrepreneurship - these spaces aim to become a genuine bridge between the university and the socio-economic world. Their main aim is to foster synergies between students, teachers, employers, entrepreneurs and local institutions.
An inauguration marked by the presence of key partners
The inauguration event was attended by numerous personalities and partner institutions, testifying to the strategic importance of this project:
