France/Masseret. Fruitful cooperation between associations

At Masseret Initiatives' general meeting at the end of March, president Jocelyne Fayard, along with secretary Édith Soularue and vice-president Sylvie Caillaud, presented an overview of 2024 activities.

She pointed out that "everything worked, with the exception of the plant swap", which will not be repeated due to the low turnout.

She also pointed out that cooperation with other associations had been very fruitful, as in the case of the operation carried out by the Ville à joie association, which specializes in organizing festive events.Ville à joie, an association specializing in the organization of festive events to present the various services useful to everyday life: "We need to continue this partnership."

Treasurer Annie Magimel presented a healthy financial situation that will enable the association to support various communal initiatives.

After the photo exhibition in February, projects for 2025 include the renewal of the flower garden competition, the Lily of the Valley walk on May ¹, the Night of the Stars on July 19, the flea market on August 3 and, finally, the autumn market on November 30.

Plant swap not to be repeated

With the other associations in the commune, we plan to take part in the Neighbours' Day on May 24, the arrival of a stage of the Tour du Limousin cycling race on August 21, and the Country weekend with the Coyottes on September 13 and 14.

Representatives of the municipality thanked the association for its involvement in the life of the commune.

Following the Ordinary General Meeting, an Extraordinary General Meeting was held, which unanimously approved the proposed new Articles of Association.
