Algeria/ Mascara: launch of several development projects in the communes of Aïn Fras and Aïn Fekan

Development projects were launched on Wednesday in the communes of Aïn-Fras and Aïn-Fekan, in the wilaya of Mascara.

The development projects, whose total funding exceeds 200 million dinars allocated under the communes' social and economic development program and the Fonds de développement social et économique des communes et du Fonds de garantie et de solidarité des collectivités locales (FGSCL) for the current year, also include the extension of the drinking water distribution network.drinking water distribution network in the Ouled Mehidine residential area, in the commune of Aïn Fras, as well as the renovation of the drinking water pipeline supplying this precious liquid.water to the rural community of Chellailia, in the commune of Aïn Fekan, from a 500-cubic-meter reservoir.

These two operations are designed to improve the supply of drinking water in the two aforementioned rural settlements, according to explanations provided by officials from the Water Resources Department.The wali also gave the go-ahead for projects to build a treatment room in the "Laâbana" area of the Aïn Fras commune and a school canteen at the "Hadji Djilali" elementary school in Aïn Fekan.

The head of the Mascara wilaya executive also supervised the launch of rehabilitation work on two tracksconnecting the CW 58 wilaya road to the El Djouad housing estate over a distance of 2.5 km, and the RN 7 national road to the "El Gorâa" douar over a distance of 1.7 km, in the Aïn Fekan commune.

In addition, during an inspection of the construction site for a local grain storage center with a capacity of 50.000 quintals, located in the commune of Aïn Fekan, where work is currently estimated to be almost 70% complete, the wali insisted on the need to speed up the project. the need to speed up the project so that it is "completed by the end of next June".

Lastly, the wali supervised the commissioning of a local sports field lined with synthetic turf in the town of Aïn Fras, following rehabilitation work.

He also inspected work to connect the rural locality of El-Othmania to the electricity grid and the project to build a 200-place school complex in the town of d'Aïn Fras.dagogic places in the town of Aïn Fekan, a project which the company in charge of its realization has undertaken to deliver before the start of the next school year.
