France/ NOTE TO LOCAL AUTHORITIES -Territoires Volontaires: launch of the 4th call for expressions of interest to identify local authorities
Encouraged by the success of previous AMIs under the Territoires Volontaires program, which supported 86 local authorities in the creation of more than 360 international volunteer exchange and solidarity missions, the Délégation pour les Collectivités Territoriales et la Société Civile and France Volontaires have joined forces to continue this momentum with the launch of a new call for expressions of interest from French local authorities.
Priority themes
In order to reinforce the contribution of Territoires Volontaires to the strategic orientations defined by the Conseil présidentiel du développement and implemented by the Conseil interministériel de la coopération internationale et du développement (CICID), volunteer assignments must contribute to one of the ten priorities set out by these two councils. Projects that integrate one of the following priorities will be encouraged:
- Promoting education in citizenship and international solidarity (ECSI) among young people, in particular through the missions entrusted to volunteers hosted in French territories;
- Encourage the mobilization of diasporas and the involvement of their associations.
Provisional calendar
April 29, 2025: National information webinar
May 19, 2025: AMI closing date
June 2, 2025: Selection and notification of winning communities
June-September 2025: Agreement between operators, local authorities and France Volontaires
September 2025: Start of volunteer deployment
December 2026: End of all missions and closing of agreements
