Togo: Agence Togo Digital and GIZ provide digital training for over 120 SMEs
Agence Togo Digital (ATD) will be training entrepreneurs from northern Togo next month, as part of its efforts to promote the digitalization of very small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Togo.
After several training sessions across the country, the new stage will take place from April 8 to 11, 2025 in Dapaong.
In Kara, where the last session ended in February, 20 businesses, including 11 run by women, benefited from the Tech Immersion Plus (TIP) program, according to the German cooperation agency, which is supporting the initiative. The aim was for these economic operators to integrate strategic digital tools to optimize their management and strengthen their online presence.
In particular, the session enabled beneficiaries to acquire skills in Business Model Canvas, digital accounting and online marketing.
The impact is tangible, according to participants. Solutions such as WhatsApp Business and Odoo are transforming the day-to-day running of my business ", says Kpiki Kadabi, founder of Agro Horeb and a Kara participant.
These training courses are part of the ProDigiT project, co-funded by Germany, Luxembourg and the European Union. To date, more than 120 entrepreneurs have been trained.
