Unicef donated three motorcycles to the Tchologo regional office of the Ministry of Youth Promotion, Professional Integration and Civic Service on Thursday February 6, 2025 in Ferkessédougou.

He explained that these means of mobility will provide the regional youth directorate and field teams with greater mobility capacity, enabling faster and more effective interventions with vulnerable populations. "These mobility tools will make it easier to reach the most isolated areas, and ensure greater responsiveness in emergency situations", Dr. Gnamien assured us.

This program for resilience in the north, which includes youth and adolescents, protection, sanitation and an initiative called "ambassador of peace", is designed to improve the living conditions of children, adolescents, young people and families in the most remote areas.

The secretary general of the Ferkessédougou prefecture, Tapé Laba, and the Tchologo regional youth director, Sansan Kambiréwelcomed the handover of the motorcycles, and encouraged the donors to continue their support for the people of the region. "Your actions are in line with the government's resilience policy for the people of our region," said Mr Tapé.

This program is jointly implemented by Unicef and Pnud, with financial support from the United Nations Peacebuilding Fund (PBF).
